things I need to do over winter break
It’s almost 2 A.M. There’s an essay I need to write by tomorrow. But my mind is stuck in the future. I like literature, but I don’t think I can take another lit class at Brown again. There’s something about analyzing literature that seems a bit…reductive. I don’t like that. Anyway, I digress:
- Learn Java
- Learn C++???
- Learn Maya
- Read a lot. Top of to-read list: House of Leaves, Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World, House of Spirits, Anathem, Dune, The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay, The Brief and Wonderous Life of Oscar Wao
- Do more art. I don’t know why I still bother putting this on lists because it never happens.
- Think less about the future.
- Sleep a lot.
- Don’t spend a shit ton of money
- Look for internships.
- Figure out life (or at least next semester).
- Exercise. (lol. I can dream, right?)
In other news, I’m in the process of filling out my concentration declaration for Art History and CS. :D Which I probably won’t complete until the deadline near the end of next semester, but whatever.
